An extensive field inspection at the World Heritage Site of Nea Paphos has resulted in the identification and cataloging of over 350 architectural decorative elements. The project focused on high-status residences, including the Villa of Theseus and the House of Aion, where researchers inventoried fluted column drums and stylobates.
This systematic study is part of a larger effort by the University of Warsaw to digitize the city's architectural history. The team also explored newly revealed layers of stone paving and a terracotta pipeline system, which provide a more detailed understanding of the Hellenistic city’s hydraulic infrastructure and public space organization.
