The Primordial Existence
In the very beginning, before anything was created, there was only one reality. It was without form, without sound, without sky or earth. There was no day or night, no sun or moon, no fire, no wind, and no water.
This reality was the Supreme, endless and eternal. The Rigveda calls it "That One." It was pure consciousness, calm and still. Nothing else was present, only this single truth.
Then, within this great stillness, a will arose. The will was to become many, to bring forth creation. This first movement of thought and desire began the journey of the universe.
