Massive 3,000-Year-Old 'Olmec-Mayan' Hybrid Ceremonial Center Mapped in Veracruz Using AI Satellite Analysis

Satellite imagery combined with AI-driven terrain analysis has revealed a giant ceremonial platform in the Veracruz lowlands. The site exhibits architectural features of both the Olmec and early Mayan cultures, acting as a 'missing link' that shows the cultural transition between these two great Mesoamerican civilizations.

The platform, which is over 500 meters long, contains several pyramid bases and a central plaza designed to align with the movements of Venus. This discovery suggests that the Olmec and Maya were part of a much more integrated and continuous cultural landscape than previously understood.
