Scholars Identify 'Philosophy of Mutual Resonance' in Newly Deciphered 9th-Century Pallava Copper Plates

Linguists at the University of Madras have completed the decipherment of a set of 9th-century copper plates from the Pallava dynasty. The plates detail a unique social philosophy known as Anyonya-Dhvani, or the "Mutual Resonance" of citizens within a state.

Unlike traditional political treatises, this text focuses on the metaphysics of community, suggesting that the well-being of the ruler and the ruled are vibrationally linked. The discovery highlights a sophisticated Southern Indian contribution to ancient Indian political and social ethics that emphasizes harmony over hierarchy.
