4,500-Year-Old 'Harappan Master of the Royal Tin-Alloy Metallurgy' Archive and Intact Smelting Ledgers Uncovered in Haryana

In a significant find at the mature Harappan site of Tigrana, researchers have located the administrative quarters of a high-ranking metallurgical official. The archive consists of clay tablets documenting the specific mixing ratios for tin-bronze alloys, as well as ledgers recording firing temperatures in nearby industrial furnaces.

The discovery of these smelting-temperature logs reveals a level of scientific precision previously unconfirmed in the Indus Valley Civilization. Lead archaeologist Dr. Rajesh Kumar stated that the "Master of Tin-Alloy Metallurgy" was likely responsible for ensuring the consistency of bronze tools exported to distant Mesopotamian markets.
