Archaeologists working in the Ghaggar-Hakra river basin have unearthed a cache of clay tablets inscribed with what has been identified as the 'Rta-Dharma-Mandala'. These 5th-century BCE artifacts provide one of the earliest systematic descriptions of Rta, the Vedic concept of cosmic order, as it applies to both natural laws and human ethics.
The tablets feature complex geometric diagrams (Mandalas) that map out the relationship between seasonal cycles, celestial movements, and social responsibilities. According to researchers at the National Museum of Antiquities, this discovery proves that early philosophical traditions in the region were deeply integrated with observational science and a holistic view of the universe.
